Since the opening of the Carbondale office, we've been flooded with requests for infant and child car seats from families across the region. Car seats are one of the most important items a family must have.
 

• They save lives

• They are required by law

• And they are expensive!!

Our region lacks the needed resources for families in need to access safe car seats. We get frequent calls from families who are unable to be discharged from Labor & Delivery units because they cannot provide one. 

​

As children grow, their car seat needs also change. Families that are already struggling often cannot afford to stay current with the correct seat to meet their child's safety needs. 

​

Donations made during the month of November will go to our car seat fund and will allow us to provide safe, new, and needed car seats to struggling families. Funding will also allow us to access Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) training for our office staff and volunteers so that they can offer education on safe seat installation and use.
